Wearing piercings is becoming increasingly popular. A piercing can be placed on many different parts of the body.
At Flavour Visagie, you can get the following piercings:

1. Ear piercings / also earring piercing
2. Navel piercings
3. Nipple piercings
4. Nose piercings

In our beauty salon, we have a separate room dedicated to piercing. We perform piercings in a professional and skilled manner, following the regulations of the GGD (Dutch Public Health Service). At Flavour Visagie, our piercers use disposable piercing materials. These are materials that are discarded after each piercing session. You can therefore be assured that our piercers work in a hygienic and sterile environment.

All our piercers are certified and have obtained their piercing diplomas from the recognized training institute Jolange Opleidingen.

Please note: Piercing under the age of 16 is only allowed with parental consent.
After getting a new piercing, you should avoid swimming and sun exposure for at least 2 months. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your piercing appointment.

During this time, we will go over the following with you:

• The piercer will check your I.D. (minimum age for piercing is 16 years)
  Bring a valid I.D. – we cannot perform the piercing without it. Please note: Photos of I.D.s are not accepted
• You can choose the piercing jewelry you would like to have inserted or changed.
• You will receive advice and information about the piercing process.
• You will be given a piercing consent form to fill out (if you are a minor, your parent must fill it out)..
• If you have any important questions or concerns, please let us know in advance.

Flavour Visagie holds a GGD license. This means our beauty salon in Rotterdam has passed inspection by the GGD. During the inspection, it is checked whether we comply with the guidelines of the GGD and the LCHV (National Center for Hygiene and Safety) in the piercing process, the cleaning beforehand, and the cleaning afterwards.

Only beauty salons with a license are permitted to perform piercings. Without a GGD license, it is prohibited to do so. Salons with a piercing and permanent make-up license are registered nationally (Find out more).
